Childhood Anxiety in Fragile X Syndrome and Autism

We are recruiting children with autism spectrum disorder who are 7–11 years old.

Who Can Participate?

Children with autism who are 7 to 11 years old.

Participation Entails

  • One in-person behavioral assessment in your home or at our lab (~3 hours)
  • Parent-report questionnaires and interviews (~3 hours)
  • Assessments are scheduled based on your availability

Study Purpose

This study aims to better understand:

  • How, when, and why anxiety develops in some children with autism
  • How anxiety impacts broader abilities (e.g., social skills) and quality of life

Compensation

Families will receive $200 for participation.
