"Palmetto Pigskin: Images from the Early Years of College Football in South Carolina," is on display in the lobby of the South Caroliniana Library through Nov. 23.
Most of the images date before 1940. The featured schools are Carolina, Clemson, Wofford, S.C. State, Furman, Erskine, Presbyterian, Newberry, and the Citadel.
The South Caroliniana Library is located on USC's historic Horseshoe. Library hours are 8:30 a.m.5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; 8:30 a.m.5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and 9 a.m.1 p.m. Saturday.
