South Caroliniana Library displays "African Americana" exhibit through Feb. 28

Selected materials documenting the life and culture of South Carolina’s black community will be exhibited in the lobby of the South Caroliniana Library, February 2–28.

The documents and photographs in "African Americana: Recent Acquisitions at South Caroliniana Library" are drawn from African-American collections acquired by the library since 2000.

Located on USC’s Historic Horseshoe, the South Caroliniana Library is a repository for manuscripts and published materials documenting South Carolina’s social, political, literary, and cultural heritage.

Exhibit hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m.–8 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
