University Chorus to present fall concert Nov. 20

The University Chorus at the University of South Carolina will present its fall concert, “Life, Loss, and Love,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at St. Andrews Baptist Church, 230 Bush River Rd. The concert is free and open to the public.

The program will include works by Palestrina, Faure, Childs, Bach, Ticheli, Brahms, Vaughan Williams, Meche and Lauridsen.

The University Chorus comprises 72 members from all disciplines on campus and is under the new direction of Joseph Modica, recently appointed assistant professor of music education. Student chorus members represent science, engineering, humanities and languages, as well as music.
