Mathemagics: The Art of Mental Calculation, Friday March 23

Arthur T. Benjamin, a professor at Harvey Mudd College, combines his love for mathematics and magic in Mathemagics, a mind-boggling presentation of lightning-quick calculations and other incredible feats of mathematical agility.

Sponsored by Carolina Science Outreach and the mathematics department of the College of Arts and Sciences, the event will begin at 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, in 153 Gambrell Hall. It is free and open to the public.
