Singers invited to participate in Carolighting ceremony

Experienced singers who are able to read music are invited to join the Carolina Chorus for the annual Carolighting ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 28.

The event includes a 2 p.m. rehearsal at the University of South Carolina School of Music before the 6 p.m. ceremony on the Statehouse grounds. The group will sing the “Hallelujah Chorus” along with two familiar pieces -- an Alfred Burt carol and “Carol of the Bells.”

Any high school or adult singer who is interested in participating must email Sara Beardsley at sbeardsley@mozart.sc.edu by Wednesday, Nov. 24.
