Series to explore role of libraries, museums
A monthly lecture series on the role of 21st-century libraries and museums will take place this fall at the University of South Carolina, featuring Dr. David Carr, a leading scholar on America’s cultural institutions.
Carr is an associate professor at the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Lectures are set for Sept. 17, Oct. 8, Nov. 19 and Dec. 10 from 2 - 4 p.m. in Room 112 of Davis College, the home of USC’s School of Library Information and Science.
