USC host SAT/ACT summer institutes
The University of South Carolina will host a series of SAT/ACT summer institutes in locations about the state in July and August to help students prepare for the standardized tests required for college admission.
Organized by USC’s Continuing Education and Conferences, the institutes will be held at the University Center of Greenville July 12 – 15; at USC Sumter July 19 – 22; at USC Beaufort July 26 – 29; on USC’s Columbia campus Aug. 2 – 5; and in Charleston Aug. 9 – 12.
Undergraduate admissions exam-prep experts will provide in-depth strategies for taking the SAT/ACT, including question formats, time management and process of elimination. Detailed instruction will cover an array of quantitative and verbal subjects.
The institute runs from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and costs $499. A $50 early bird discount is available.
