Thomas H. Regan Executive Sport Seminar welcomes NFL owner Stephen Bisciotti
Stephen Bisciotti, owner of the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League, will be the guest lecturer for the Thomas H. Regan Executive Sport Seminar at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, in the Belk Auditorium of the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
Bisciotti’s lecture is titled “My Life and the NFL.” It is free and open to the public.
Bisciotti, at 48, is the second-youngest owner in the NFL. He purchased the Ravens franchise in 2004, 21 years after co-founding Aerotek, a staffing agency for aerospace and technology companies that produced $1.5 million in sales in its first year. The company later became Allegis Group and is the third-largest staffing firm in the United States. Based in Baltimore, the company has offices throughout the United States, Canada and Europe with more than 6,000 employees and 65,000 high-end contract workers.
The Regan seminar, sponsored by the university’s department of sport and entertainment management, is funded by a grant from NASCAR to provide opportunities for students, faculty and the community to learn more about careers in sports and entertainment.
