Palmetto College chancellor candidates to visit campus
Four candidates for chancellor of Palmetto College at the University of South Carolina have been invited to visit the campus for interviews in the coming weeks. Each will meet with faculty, students, staff and administrators.
Thomas B. Cavanagh, assistant vice president of distributed learning, University of Central Florida (Dec. 7)
John H. Dozier, vice president of operations, Umatch, Inc., Greenville and Columbia, SC (Dec. 19)
Susan Elkins, vice president of extended programs and regional development and dean of the College of Interdisciplinary Studies, Tennessee Technological University (Dec. 18)
Monica J. Orozco, assistant provost for eLearning, Florida Atlantic University (Dec. 12)
The university is conducting a nationwide search for the Palmetto College chancellor. The new chancellor is expected to assume the job in spring of 2013.
