Director of School of Journalism and Mass Communications named president of AEJMC

Dr. Carol Pardun, director of the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of South Carolina, will become the president of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) Oct. 1. She finishes a term as president-elect and will be the second university faculty member to be elected president of the international organization; Dr. Judy Van Slyke was named president in 1995.
