Continued: Moore School
Loeser is a member of numerous boards and has been involved with the Moore School since his graduation, donating needed technology to the school while at CompuCom and as chairman of the school’s Riegel and Emory HR Advisory Board, for which he has been involved since the mid 1980s. He teaches classes for master’s programs, recruits students and sponsors internships. Loeser lives in Roanoke, Texas.
John M. Dillard Jr.
Dillard is president of Big Sky Associates Inc., a strategy and operations consulting firm he co-founded with fellow alumnus Hanno Ekdahl (MIBS ‘99). Big Sky provides independent, evidence-based advisory services to Fortune 500 and government executives. Since its founding in 2006, Big Sky has nearly doubled in size every year and has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies headquartered in Charlotte.
Before founding Big Sky, Dillard was senior principal at SRA International and worked as a consultant to both private and public organizations in a range of industries, including research and development, manufacturing, airlines, automotive and financial services. A Greenville native, he has served as a reserve intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy and earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies and political science from American University in 1996. Dillard lives in Charlotte.
Craig L. Nix
Nix is chief financial officer for First Citizens Bank and Trust Company Inc. and is chairman of the board and president of Wateree Life Insurance Company, a subsidiary of First Citizens. In addition, he is treasurer of the First Citizens Foundation, which oversees grants and donations to community organizations.
Nix began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, with a focus on banking and mortgage industries as well as IPOs and private placements. He joined First Citizens in 1999 as senior vice president and controller and was promoted to his current role within a year and a half. Nix serves in leadership roles with a variety of community and professional organizations, including Junior Achievement’s board of directors. He is a member of the South Carolina Bankers Association and the AICPA and has previously served on the Moore School’s Business Partnership Foundation. He is a cum laude graduate of USC and Vanderbilt University’s BAI Graduate School of Bank Financial Management and is a Certified Public Accountant. Nix lives in Irmo.
