Nominate a faculty, staff, or student for the
Social Justice Awards
To recognize individuals who have exemplified the philosophies of Dr. King through random or ongoing acts of community service, social justice or racial reconciliation. Social justice means ensuring individuals and groups receive fair treatment and share equally in the benefits of society.
Anyone from the Columbia campus, regional campuses, or USC School of Medicine can make nominations.
The criteria for nominees are as follows:
- Faculty nominees must be full-time faculty. All full-time non-tenured track and tenured track faculty are welcome to apply.
- Staff nominees must be full-time permanent employees.
- Student nominees must be full-time students who are actively involved in campus life and in good academic and social standing.
Nominate a community-service-minded co-worker, faculty, or student for USC’s 2017 Social Justice Award.
