Dear Students and Parents:

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Capstone Scholars Program at the University of South Carolina. I have served now for two years as Faculty Principal and I have to admit that this has been one of the most joyful experiences I have had in academia as this program has allowed me the opportunity to meet fantastic students that have great potential. Through our program students are challenged, both inside and outside the classroom, to become the best that they can be as they increase their self-esteem and confidence, develop life-long relationships with both students and faculty, and have FUN!
Our climbing tower excursions, Hot Cookie Friday’s, service opportunities, and speaker/lecture series are but a few of the events that help our students to get to know each other, but more importantly themselves.
