As a Capstone Scholar, you have agreed to actively engage in the activities sponsored by the Capstone Scholars program and its partnering offices. The Capstone Scholars program has established an accrual system of points and subsequent levels of recognition for participation. The two tiers of participation are Dream Big and Capstone Scholars Fellow. In conjunction with the Capstone Scholars theme of “Dream Big! Impact the Community and Leave a Legacy” the required base level of program participation is “Dream Big”. In order to gain further distinction as a Capstone Scholar, a student can attain the ultimate distinction of a Capstone Scholars Fellow.
The Dream Big level has been designed to encourage our students to fully engage the “outside of the classroom” experience. This mandatory core of participatory expectations has been established for each of the 4 semesters of the program. Reviews of satisfaction surveys, from both past and present Capstone Scholars, have indicated that these core participatory events have been the building blocks for future successful endeavors.
