Thanks to the efforts and generosity of the College of Social Work alumni, faculty and staff and community partners, we recently unveiled a commemorative photo mosaic to celebrate our 50th anniversary and support student scholarships.

The mosaic, designed by Creative Services Manager John Allen, features an image of civil rights icon Martin Luther King, Jr. with headshots of each donor to the campaign. An in-person celebration and unveiling was scheduled for this past April but was cancelled due to COVID-19.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will fund College of Social Work scholarships. At the core of the college’s mission is supporting students to give them the opportunity to make a positive impact on social well-being and social justice throughout South Carolina and beyond.

A big thank you to everyone who supported our students and for making this mosaic possible. It will soon be framed and placed inside Hamilton College.
