Daniel Fogerty, Ph.D., CCC-SLP

Dan Fogerty is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Fogerty completed training in communication sciences and disorders and psychology from Augustana College, IL and later obtained his master’s degree in speech-language pathology with a specialization in cognitive science from Michigan State University. After working clinically as a speech-language pathologist, Dr. Fogerty completed a dual doctoral program in speech & hearing science and cognitive science and subsequent postdoctoral training at Indiana University. Dr. Fogerty established the Speech Perception Laboratory at USC in 2011, which uses approaches from auditory cognitive science to address theoretical and clinical issues related to speech and hearing.
