Research and Teaching Interests
Dr. Harrison's research focuses on improving the health and well-being of children and adolescents. As a pediatric school psychologist, she is interested in creating stronger links between schools, homes, and healthcare settings in order to improve outcomes for youth with chronic health conditions. Dr. Harrison is currently funded by the National Institutes of Health to develop a mobile Health (mHealth) intervention for youth living with HIV in the Southern United States. She also does work on adolescent vaccination.
