Lynae Beresford is a 2006 Graduate of the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of business. She grew up in Papillion, NE and made her way to South Carolina as a member of the USC Gamecock Volleyball team. After school she went on to have success as a personal trainer, running her own business and working for Gold’s Gym, but she decided she wanted to focus on nutrition to advance her career. She went on to obtain her Masters in Human Nutrition from Winthrop University and completed her dietetic internship through SC DHEC in 2013 to become a registered dietitian. Lynae was previously working as clinical dietitian in the ICU at Palmetto Health Baptist before joining the Cancer Prevention and Control Program and Columbia’s Cooking. Along with Columbia’s Cooking, Lynae and a business partner have started their own private nutrition counseling practice, Choose Health Nutrition LLP. She is excited to be a part of Columbia’s Cooking and is looking forward to reaching the community and sharing her knowledge of nutrition through hands on cooking.
