1:00 pm – 4:30 pm: Two focused work groups
◆ Group 1 – Session facilitated by Dr. Maureen Sroczynski (with the National Campaign for Action) AC Teams 2 & 3 participants interested in helping with the SC education progression model(s).
◆ Group 2 – Session facilitated by Dr. Peggy Hewlett, Ms. Susan Outen (SC AC) and Dr. Lisa Eichelberger (GA AC) AC Teams 3 & 4 participants interested in developing the 3 leadership projects:
1) Coaching/mentoring for D/D and CNO’s;
2) revising the Amy V. Cockcroft Fellows program;
3) developing an assessment and plan for program for appointing RNs to boards.
Others from the SC or GA Action Coalitions or anyone else interested are encouraged to join these groups. Each group will also focus on a plan to increase diversity in each sector of their work (race and gender). Therefore, we encourage minority and male nurses to attend these sessions to assist with the diversity planning. 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm: Reception for all registrants
