Chris Summers is an assistant professor of marketing at the Darla Moore School of Business. He earned his Ph.D. in Marketing from The Ohio State University and his bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University.
He studies how consumers’ past actions, knowledge of marketing tactics and interactions with new technology shape consumer behavior and decision-making. His research is published in the Journal of Consumer Research and his work has appeared in numerous national media outlets, including Harvard Business Review, The Atlantic and Gizmodo.
