Kaitlyn joined the Office of Career Management in 2018. In this role, she provides insight on resume and cover letter building, interview skills and career management for students studying accounting, economics and real estate. She also teaches Business Careers in the Global Economy for undergraduate students in the Moore School. Kaitlyn serves students in a multicultural capacity, including the LGBTQIA+ community, veterans, first generation, low-income and minority students.
Kaitlyn has a Master of Arts degree in student affairs in higher education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) (PA) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego (NY). Prior to joining the Office of Career Management, Kaitlyn completed graduate assistantships at SUNY Jefferson Community College in the Educational Opportunity Program and Career Services Office and at IUP in the Student Affairs in Higher Education Department and the Career and Professional Development Center.
Originally from northern New York, Kaitlyn moved to Columbia in 2018 and enjoys the sunny days of South Carolina. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to new places, trying new foods and playing club sports whenever she can.
