Prospective Professional MBA program students are juggling work, family and social commitments. To learn more about the program at your convenience, take advantage of our Professional MBA virtual information sessions. 

Using Adobe Connect, these events provide a program overview including curriculum, the admission process and career management assistance. It is not necessary to have Adobe Connect installed on a computer to access the sessions.

Saturday Class Description

International Mergers and Acquisitions (IBUS 735): Mergers and acquisitions (M&As) have been, and will continue to be, an integral part of the business environment. It is the primary purpose of this course to explore those factors that contribute to both successful and unsuccessful M&As, with particular focus on key strategic, financial, legal, and human resource factors. This exploration will require students to draw upon skills learned in other classes and to develop new ones. When students complete the course they will have developed a basic understanding of the major issues involved in transacting and implementing successful M&As and some skills for managing these issues.
