Bio

Background: Dr. Morrow found his interest in bedside ultrasound during rotations in medical school. He further developed his interest and obtained national sonography certification during residency training at Duke and became a researcher in ultrasound simulation creation. This spurred clinical research interest and formation of a simulation company. Dr Morrow further pursued training in ultrasound education at the University of South Carolina (the first integrated undergraduate medical ultrasound program) completing a fellowship in bedside ultrasound. Dr Morrow became the founder of the bedside ultrasound curriculum at USCSOMG and the inaugural Division Chief for Emergency Ultrasound. Dr. Morrow has been involved in the program development of ultrasound curriculum and operations at the health system recruiting other specialists and training leaders in many departments. He formed the POCUS Directors Council and is the inaugural chair.
