Mission of Committee:
The Student Affairs Committee is responsible for oversight of the services, programs and resources provided to each student to support his/her personal and professional development throughout their medical education. The committee also provides oversight and support for medical student organizations, extracurricular and community involvement, social events and ceremonies.
This committee consists of five elected faculty each serving a three-year term. This committee is supported by the Office of Student Affairs, Executive Director of Business Operations and Finance, and the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Admissions serves ex officio (voting).
Time Commitment per Year for Each Candidate?
10 hours per year.
Frequency of Meetings (i.e. monthly, weekly, June-December)?
Two - four meetings per year; one hour each.
