Dr. Bennett provides strategic leadership for the overall direction of the Center.
He is also responsible for the Center’s research initiatives, analyzing big data,
and focusing on how knowledge generated by the Center informs work internally and
state-wide. Dr. Bennett activiely serves on multiple committees in the National Rural
Ms. Stanek provides leadership and vision within the Center through strategic planning
and growing innovative projects. She has extensive knowledge and expertise in practice
improvement and transformation which she has imparted in numerous rural health clinics
and rural practices throughout South Carolina.
Megan Weis, DrPH, Director of Community Engagement
In her role, Dr. Weis works with rural community partners in the state and leads the
Center in multidisciplinary learning to align multidisciplinary action among the Center
and our partners. Her meaningful community engagement informs the Center's strategic
direction and outreach efforts.
Chuck Carter, MD, Medical Director
Dr. Carter provides leadership and guidance on clinical outreach and medical workforce
programs as the Center increases access to specialized services in rural communitites
across the state.
Alanti McGill, MPH, Program Manager
Ms. McGill is responsible for ensuring seamless project management and delivery in
alignment with the Center’s priorities and strategies. She has worked in the public
and non-profit sectors on several public and community health initiatives.
Brittany Wesley, Administrative Coordinator
Ms. Wesley is responsible for the effective management of financial and Human Resource
service needs of the Center. She has extensive knowledge of business and human resource
Samanatha Renaud, MS, Research Associate
Ms. Renaud supports the Center's research enterpise through conduting program evaluations
and expanding aligned research activities. She plans and conducts the Center's research
efforts to measure impact across the state.
