Background
Dr. Poole completed her medical education at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 1989, and her residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1994. She joined the faculty of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2015. Dr. Poole is a laborist at Palmetto Health Richland, where she is involved in the medical education of residents and medical students. She was previously in private practice.
