Stephen C. Clyburn, III is the Court Liaison for Lancaster, Fairfield, Chester, Kershaw, Sumter and Lee counties. He assists the family court by tracking and expediting the legal processing of child protection and termination of parental rights (TPR) cases. He is responsible for reviewing case files, preparing information sheets for the court, and assisting in resolving issues to prevent delayed hearings. Since 1987, Stephen has been involved in direct services and program improvement working with the Children’s Law Center, the South Carolina Department of Social Services, and the South Carolina Foster Care Review Board. He received his undergraduate degree from Millsaps College and his Master of Education from the University of South Carolina.
