As part of its mission to advance the administration of justice and contribute to the development of the law and legal theory, South Carolina Law holds a variety of conferences and symposia on issues of state, national, and international importance each year.

Legaltech Seminar Series
The series features guest lecturers who are prominent experts in various legal technology fields. The free seminars will be held in the School of Law Auditorium and are open to both law students and members of the legal community.

Memory Hold the Door
In 1958, the South Carolina Bar Association and the School of Law faculty established “Memory Hold the Door” to preserve for the inspiration of future generations the spirit and the high ethical and professional standards of past leaders of the legal profession.
