AAPI Honors Caucus

Created to give high-achieving Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students a space for fellowship and connection, the AAPI Honors Caucus provides vital leadership and ideas within the South Carolina Honors College.

Purpose

The mission of the Asian American and Pacific Islander Honors Caucus (A+HC) is to cultivate an affirming and intellectually enriching community for AAPI students within the South Carolina Honors College. This mission is accomplished through intentional programming that celebrates the rich cultural heritage and diverse identities of the AAPI community, fosters genuine connections among AAPI Honors students and promotes cultural awareness and advocacy in and outside of the Honors College.

Beyond monthly meetings, A+HC hosts social events, cultural programs and service initiatives designed to deepen members' bonds while also strengthening ties to the broader campus and local community. Through outreach partnerships, charity events and cross-cultural advocacy, A+HC strives to build a lasting community where AAPI students can find belonging, build meaningful relationships and impact campus culture.
