Dean's Council

The Dean’s Council is an organization for Honors students to make an impact on the South Carolina Honors College community. Open to Honors College students of any year and all majors, Dean's Council provides students the opportunity to gain leadership experience, promote positive change and engage in conversations across the college.

The current Dean's Council Executive Board consists of the President, Vice-President, Engagement Chair and Honors Gala Chair.

Dean's Council Committees

Each Dean's Council member serves on one of the two committees below. 

Student Engagement Committee

The purpose of the Student Engagement Committee is to create unique ways for Honors College students to voice ideas and initiate community building events and opportunities for the Honors College community. There are many facets of the engagement committee and we welcome fresh ideas.

Honors Gala Committee

The purpose of the Honors Gala Committee is to plan and execute the Honors Gala - a community event for Honors College students that is traditionally held once a year in the spring semester.
