This is a the foundational one-on-one meeting between a student and their experience coordinator that complements academic advising. A structured and developmental conversation, it supports reflection, exploration and intentional engagement throughout the Honors experience. Aligned with their classification, a coordinator connect provides space to discuss goals, experiences and next steps while helping students navigate and shape their individual path.

This is an open and informal check-in opportunity held during the first few weeks of each semester. Experience coordinators host extended, in-person availability in their offices and Honors residence halls, allowing students to stop by for quick questions, brief conversations and early-semester support as they transition into the academic year.

A one-on-one conversation between a student and their experience coordinator, this occurs outside of the coordinator connect. These meetings are typically student- or coordinator-initiated and provide flexible support for questions, follow-up, referrals, decision-making and timely topics related to the student’s Honors experience.

Coordinator Connects are required prior to attending a supplemental meeting.

This is an ongoing series of events designed to bring opportunities, resources and pathways directly to students throughout the academic year. The individual events will connect students with campus partners, experiential learning opportunities and topics relevant to their academic, personal and professional growth. They will assist them with stayng informed and engaged with what is available across the college and university.
