Becky Hollm, MS

Originally from Western New York, Becky graduated with a bachelor’s from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. She studied psychology and biology, with a focus on marine mammal behavior and environmental effects on cognition and development. During her college years she was active in various honor societies, did research in a social psychology lab, interned at the National Aquarium, and studied abroad in the bay islands of Honduras. After working for a few years in public health research, Becky returned to school for a master’s degree in counseling from Villanova University. She served as an Academic Counselor and Academic Advisor in various schools in the Philadelphia area until moving here in 2016 with her husband, Justin. Becky began working as a First Year Advisor in USC’s College of Arts and Sciences before joining the Honors College in the Spring of 2017. In her spare time, Becky enjoys playing with her two children (Heidi and Cooper), baking, exploring Columbia, and spending time with her family and friends.
