Megan graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in August 2022 with a master’s degree in French Language and Literature and a master’s thesis in Literary Translation. In May 2020, Megan graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in both Global Studies and French Language and Literature and a minor in Anthropology. During her undergraduate studies, Megan was a Buffett Scholar and had the opportunity to study abroad in Lille, France, in the Spring of 2019.
Megan worked as an instructor of record for both French 101 and French 102 during her graduate studies where she developed her passion for working with high-achieving students. During her time at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she also worked as a professional translator and held various positions as a graduate assistant. Megan loves to encourage students in their curiosity about the world around them and hopes to leave a lasting impact by helping develop critical thinkers and lifelong learners. In her free time, Megan enjoys baking, translating, language learning, traveling and staying physically active. She hopes to publish her thesis soon and plans to translate another novel and begin learning Italian.
