Research Opportunities

The Smart Microwave And RF Technology Group in Electrical Engineering Department of University of South Carolina is seeking graduate research assistants.

Our research projects include:

  1. Smart RF electronics with nano-patterned films
  2. Graphene based RF NEMS
  3. Nano materials for advanced gas and biomedical sensing
  4. Wireless engergy transfer
  5. Integration and design of 3D RF technology.

Students with a master degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics or related field is encouraged to apply. Students with only bachelor degree from above fields will also be considered provided high GPA and strong research interests. A TOEFL score is necessary to meet the minimum requirements of graduate school admission. A GRE score is recommended. Experiences and skills in RF design, EM simulation, nanofabrication, and high frequency characterization are encouraged.
