Brandy Walters

Background

Brandy tried rock climbing in the summer of 2007 and was instantly hooked on the sport.  Her passion for the mind/body challenge, the camaraderie, and the outdoors has developed into a love for exposing new climbers to the same joy.
This passion led Brandy to begin teaching the Sport Climbing and Bouldering class at USC in the Fall 2012.  Since her first outdoor climbing experience at Looking Glass, she now enjoys sport climbing at the Obed, the New River Gorge, Summersville Lake, the Red River Gorge, Sandrock, Pilot Mountain, and Crowders Mountain.

She also enjoys bouldering at Horse Pens 40, Rumbling Bald, Dixon School Road Boulders, and Grandmother Boulders.
