
Lucy Santos Green, Ph.D. (Co-Principal Investigator)
Professor of Information Science at the University of South Carolina, Dr. Lucy Santos Green has over twenty years of experience as a classroom teacher, school librarian, school library educator, and internationally recognized researcher in mixed methodology with publications in technology-integration for K-12 settings, instructional design, online pedagogy in higher education and K-12, online learning communities, and culturally competent school librarianship.
Dr. Green is the current co-editor of School Libraries Worldwide, the official research journal for the International Association of School Librarianship, the past chair of the Educators of School Librarians Section for the American Association of School Librarians, and a research mentor for the National Science Foundation Sponsored Early Career Symposium, through the Association for Educational Communications & Technology.
Her latest book, “LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Children's Librarianship: Policies, Programs, and Practices,” will be released by Libraries Unlimited in Spring of 2022.
