A native of Sumter, Martin is a proud alumna of UofSC and LSU, which makes her both a Gamecock and a Tiger.
She has collaborated to win multiple ADDY awards and a Best of Show from the American Advertising Federation, in addition to several accolades from United Way of America and the Southern Public Relations Federation.
Martin is a long-time member of Delta Gamma (Women's) Fraternity, and in 2016, received the organization's Cable Award for "unusual loyalty and devotion far beyond normal alumnae participation."
