Bio:

Diana Lorenzi serves as the Graduate Student Services Coordinator for the School of Visual Art and Design (SVAD) at the University of South Carolina, her alma mater. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education (K–12) from the University of South Carolina, following four years of study in Art Therapy at Mercyhurst University.

Diana brings extensive experience in arts education, having taught art to students ranging from Pre-K through adulthood. The majority of her teaching career was spent as a Visual Arts Educator at the high school level in Greenville, South Carolina. In addition to her background in education, she has professional experience in payroll and customer service, contributing to her strong organizational and interpersonal skill set.

An active multidisciplinary artist based in Columbia, Diana is deeply engaged in the local arts community. She regularly attends art events and volunteers throughout the city. Her passions include the arts, education, biology, human rights, and empowering communities through creative engagement. She is committed to enriching Columbia’s cultural landscape and supporting students and artists through meaningful advocacy and service.
