Katelyn Stauffer received her PhD from Indiana University in 2018 and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science, as well as an affiliated faculty member with the Women’s and Gender Studies Program. Her research examines how gender shapes American political behavior and public opinion, as well as the actions of those in positions of power. Dr. Stauffer’s research has been published in the American Political Science Review, the American Journal of Political Science, Political Research Quarterly, and Politics & Gender among others. She teaches course on gender and politics, political representation, and legislative politics.
