Effective immediately, all course modality change requests must be approved by the Office of the Dean before the request is submitted to the Office of the Registrar. This applies to permanent modality changes only.
Faculty should submit course modality change requests to the Office of the Dean using the form below to request a permanent change in how a course is delivered. Please see the Master Schedule Best Practices - Spring 2021 [pdf] document for more information on course instruction modes. Submitted change requests must include a justification, syllabus, and confirmation of the request’s approval by the unit chair or director.
Temporary modality or instructional method changes should continue be handled at the unit level by the faculty member in consultation with the unit chair or director per the Provost’s memo instructions.
