Pronouns: She/Her

Educational Background:  BA in History and Anthropology with minors in International Studies and World Religion from the University of Kentucky, 2020.

Biography: I am currently a second year Public History master’s student with a concentration in Historic Preservation. My research focuses largely on sex work and gender in the 19th century American South. My research is working to shed light on the sex workers themselves as active agents in southern society rather than a villainous presence with negative connotations for southern morality. In addition to my research, I am the 2021-2022 academic year treasurer for the Graduate History Association and I am a member of the honors fraternities Alpha Alpha Alpha, Phi Alpha Theta, and Phi Kappa Beta.
