Bio: After graduating from the University of South Carolina Honors College in 2014, Trey worked at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture as a researcher for the Cultural Expressions inaugural exhibit and as Media Coordinator for inaugural exhibit media. His research interests concern the intersections of race, identity, culture, and politics in the United States. He is currently working on a project analyzing country music star Roy Acuff's 1948 campaign for governor of Tennessee.
