Dr. Salamifar holds a PhD in French & Francophone World Studies from the University of Iowa. He completed his BA and MA in French Language & Literature at the University of Tehran.

His academic interests center on the contemporary French literature, culture, and visual culture with a focus on subject construction in autobiographical and biographical narratives.

Dr. Salamifar is currently the Basic French Courses Director and leads the Summer Study Abroad in Tours Program.
