HRTM 340 - Nutrition

The utilization of food by the body; menu planning and food production for institutions in relation to regular and modified diets.
This course will be available as streaming video. PC users will need high-speed Internet access and Microsoft Windows Media player to play the streaming files. Mac users should install Windows Media Components for QuickTime by Flip4Mac. Mac users who experience difficulties streaming can use the download link. Course communications and interaction will be through Blackboard.
Course Delivery Type
A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
(100% asynchronous - if course has any online or face-to-face meetings, live attendance will not be required. For any such sessions, there will be alternative ways to view or obtain the material covered).
