COMD 790 - Introduction to Research in Speech Pathology and Audiology

Course Description

An introduction to research methods applicable to and utilized in speech pathology and audiology. An analysis of basic and applied research.

General Information

This is a streaming video course supplemented via Blackboard. See instructor for links and password information. High-speed internet access is required for video streaming.

On-Campus Sessions/Orientation Information

The course will culminate in a poster presentation. Students are responsible for the cost of poster printing, estimated at around $40. Students will present research posters at the COMD Research Festival on Saturday, December 9 held in the Department on the same day as MCD advisement.

Course Delivery Type

A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc. Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.
