An athletic training undergraduate and graduate award given to students who demonstrate outstanding community service and engagement in the area of health care and wellness. Committee is looking for service outside of normal/required student clinical experiences. Graduate student must be within 1st year of study. Undergraduate student must be in 1st or 2nd year of the athletic training program.

ELIGIBILITY:
- Must be currently enrolled in the USC Physical Therapy doctoral program
- Must have completed the first year in the program
- Must have willingness to relocate to NC and pursue NC physical therapy licensure
- Preference given to applicants who are bilingual, from diverse backgrounds, or interested in serving underserved or rural populations.

CRITERIA:
- Scholastic achievement, as indicated by a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Good professional standing and sustained record of scholastic achievement
- Short essay of 500 words

This fund is to support the Athletic Training Program at USC. Funds will be used to provide scholarships for athletic training students as well as enhance the educational opportunities for certified athletic trainers.
