Women's Studies faculty nominate students with a record of extraordinary achievement and contributions to Women's Studies classes, and exemplary commitment to women's issues on campus or in the community. This award is designed to recognize an extraordinary senior with a major or minor in Women's Studies. WOST faculty nominate students via letter of nomination. Award Amount: $250

To have taught at least one undergraduate or graduate WOST (or WOST cross-listed) course within one semester of the time of nomination. This award is to recognize outstanding teaching in undergraduate and graduate courses of the Women's Studies Program.

This award is open to Women's Studies Graduate Certification students. It is designed to assist WGST Graduate Certificate students with research and professional development. Proposals should be consistent with the research mission of Women's & Gender Studies to re-conceptualize knowledge, create new knowledge, and/or reinterpret existing knowledge about women and their experiences through the lens of gender and the prism of diversity.
