| Training Description | This training, offered exclusively for current staff, guardians, and attorneys with the Cass Elias McCarter Guardian ad Litem Program and Richland County CASA, will explore the role of the Parent Liaison who works with families of special needs youth and navigates the resources/referral process in the school system (IEP and 504 Plans). Trainees will also hear from a high school guidance counselor who will share their experience with identifying resources available to assist youth in foster care. |
