Insurance Fees
Student health insurance is optionally available to all full-time and most other students.

Other Fees
Diploma fee. Replacement of diploma as originally issued, $25

Motor vehicle registration and parking garage fees. All persons using campus parking facilities other than metered areas must register their vehicle with the Department of Vehicle Management and Parking Services. Estimated Expenses for One Academic Year
South Carolina residents living on campus:
- Tuition, $4,784
- Fees, $250 ($50 matriculation, $200 technology)
- Room and Board (estimated), $5,064

- Total: $10,455, no fees; $10,705, with fees
Out-of-state students. Academic costs for nonresidents are $12,904 without fees, or $13,154 with fees, per year, bringing the estimated total to $18,575 without fees, or $18,825 with fees.
These University expenses will be incurred by full-time students who choose to live on campus. In addition to these costs, students will find that they have expenses for personal and miscellaneous items and for travel. These costs will vary greatly depending on each student's lifestyle. All students should plan their budgets to include these discretionary expenses.
